Where Fear Walks

Mary was a tall slim woman of thirty five years.  She had never married, much to the chagrin of her family.  People had described her as plain, but when they got to know her they found that she had a delightful personality, everyone was better for knowing her.

Dan Archer was new in town, he had moved to Washington from the Midwest.  Jobs were hard to find as the economy was in a downturn, so he took the only job available, The Moton Pet Store.

Harry and Alice Moton owned a pet store in the town of Jethro, Washington.  They were animal lovers so when Harry retired from the business world they decided to open a pet store to do what they loved.  It was going well, so much so in fact that they needed to hire an employee.  Harry worked long hours and this would free up some of his time, so he could relax.

Mary Pierce worked for a local insurance agency as receptionist and secretary.  She loved her job.  Working with people was what she loved to do best.  She had been trained to be a helper since she was a child.  Her mother had been active in church and taught Mary to reach out to others, especially those less fortunate than herself.

There was a new pastor at the 1st Baptist church in Moton.  He came from California where he had pastored a church of fifteen hundred people.  Pastor David Melvin was well known in the evangelical stream of Christianity for his sermons on revival.  He had a large following on Facebook; mostly it was people who knew him or those who found him there and liked what he had to say.

Mary was a loyal member of the congregation since her youth.  Her mother Agnes was a founding member.  Agnes had raised Mary alone as Mary’s father had left her when she found she was pregnant.  He told her, “I didn’t sign on for this.”  Not to be daunted, Agnes turned to Jesus for help and He was her faithful partner.  Mary turned out good!

The Saturday before the fourth of July, Mary decided that she wanted to have a pet.  Agnes had died the year before and though Mary had an active busy life, she wanted a companion at home.

As it happened, Dan was working at the pet store when Mary walked in.  Dan had not married after he got out of college because every girl he met was shallow and vain.  Not one to dwell on the negative he took it in stride and moved on filling his life with friends and fun.

Mary asked to see the dogs, she was particularly fond of the Black Labrador breed.  Harry got pets for the store from several sources.  He had only recently acquired the Lab puppies from a source in a small town near them.  They were so cute and lively.  She fell in love with a male who seemed to be the most gregarious of the litter.

As she was paying for her dog, Dan asked if she knew what she was going to name him.  She replied, “Alphonso The Great”.  “Interesting name for a dog.”, Dan replied.  “Yes, I think so too.”  Mary responded.  “I will call him “Fonzie” for short.” Mary said.  “Oh, like on the old TV program, “Happy Days”? Dan asked.  “Yes, because “Fonzie” always wore a black leather jacket and my new dog is black, I think it is appropriate, don’t you?”  Mary said.  Dan agreed.

Dan thought, “Interesting girl.  Not much to look at, but she seemed to have a great personality and a sense of humor.”

Mary and Fonzie settled into what would become a routine over the next year.  He grew to be a full sized Lab and could take Mary for a walk instead of the other way around.  He was headstrong and wilful.  She decided he needed some training, so once again she went to the Moton Pet Store to get a lead.

Walking in, she noticed the man behind the counter was the one who had sold her the dog a year ago.  He remembered her and asked how “Fonzie” was doing.  Explaining her problem Dan told her about a man in town that had trained dogs for the United States Army.  He was highly recommended.  Mary contacted him and he worked with Fonzie and her to teach them how to work together.  Teaching Fonzie that she was the top dog was no easy task.

When Dan smiled, Mary noticed that he had a dimple in his right cheek.  “Mmmm nice, she thought to herself.”  Dan could not help but notice that Mary, who was wearing shorts that day, had beautiful legs. “The old-time movie star, Lana Turner, whose legs were insured for a million dollars, had nothing on Mary Pierce.” He mused.

As it happened, the Baptist church was having a revival the coming week-end; there were signs all around town announcing it.  A tent was to be set up on the vacant lot at the back of the church.  A famous evangelist was to hold the revival along with Pastor Melton.

Mary was looking forward to the meetings.  She asked Dan if he would be interested in coming to the meetings.  He wanted to get to know Mary, so he said he would be delighted to come.

Rain was threatening for the Revival week-end, but it was no match for the praying women.  The storm parted and went right around town.

Dan had never been to a revival.  He was not a believer, in fact, in his youth he had told his parents that he did not believe in a god he could not see or prove existed.  Naturally, his parents, who were believers, were devastated.  He had gone to church at their insistence,  but, since high school days Dan had not gone to church.  He had mellowed a bit and was not as dogmatic and argumentative as he had been then, but he still did not believe in God.  He believed in being rational and reasonable.  If it could be seen and explained, he was all over it.

Pastor David Melvin had brought his young daughter into the store to purchase a parakeet.  She was a sweet little girl with red hair that her mother had put into pigtails.  So adorable.  Dan loved little kids and hoped that someday he would have his own, though at age thirty, time was flying.

Dan saw Mary sitting up front; noticing a chair next to her he ventured forward.  “Hi, may I sit here?”  he asked.  “Yes, of course you may.  Good to see you again, I am so glad that you came.”  “I am glad to see you again, Mary.  I don’t know anything about this sort of thing.  What is the format?”  Dan asked.  Mary explained the general pattern of service, but offered that they just needed to be open to what God wanted to do.  Dan wasn’t thrilled with that remark, but chose to let it go.  He just wanted to get to know Mary better.

What followed for Dan Archer was nothing short of life changing.  In one night he experienced God’s power, a power that he had denied existed.

The visiting evangelist told the congregation about the love of God for them.  He explained that God was not mad at them.  “He loves you and wants you, just the way your are.  He wants you to come to Him, to know him.”  He told them that through the sacrifice of the Son of God for them, as if they were the only one who needed to be rescued from their miserable life, they could come to know this loving God, this Father.

Something was stirring in Dan, he felt very uncomfortable.  He wanted to leave, but he was sitting up front and would not make a scene.  He had heard this message before, but it had never touched him. “What is going?” He thought.  “I am a reasonable person, I don’t do emotional.”

Thankfully, it was over and Dan asked Mary if they could spend a little time together.  Mary suggested that they stop by her house and pick up Fonzie for a walk in the park.  He liked that idea and agreed.  He felt so comfortable with Mary, she was intelligent and could carry on a stimulating conversation.  He liked that.  A woman with a good mind was hard to find.

The next day was Sunday and the revival services continued at the tent on the grounds of First Baptist.  Monday morning Dan heard that a woman who had been hard of hearing was healed at the Sunday night meeting, so Pastor Melton decided to continue the meetings to see what God would do.

The praying woman in the community had been meeting together for over a year, asking God to move upon their town and revive it.  Now, it appeared that He was doing just that.

Dan called Mary to ask if she would like to have supper with him, this was Monday night.  Mary said she was going to the tent meeting, but Harry and Alice were having a get together at their house at noon, which he also had been invited to, and could they meet there?  The answer, of course, was, ” Yes!”

Dan loved picnics and Bar B Q’s, he loved the outdoors, so this was right up his alley, as they say.  He was delighted.  Mary arrived shortly after Dan did, she was wearing his favorite color: blue, and had on shorts again, showing her best asset, in his opinion.  He was finding himself increasingly attracted to Mary Pierce.  And, he liked it.

He watched Mary as she interacted with people.  He thought to himself, “How could I have ever thought she was plain, she is beautiful.”

Mary stood at the sink washing dishes and chatting with some ladies.  Dan watched her from the couch.  She seemed to be in her element when she was helping others.  What a great quality in a woman.

Mary noticed that Dan was watching her, she wondered what he was thinking.  He was so handsome and she wondered why no woman had snatched him up.  Feelings began to rise in her that she had not experienced before with any man.  She liked to be with Dan.  He was so interesting, but he was not a believer and she knew that she could not be joined to a man who was not of like mind and faith.

The food was eaten, the dishes were done and it was starting to get on toward late afternoon.  She had to get home, take Fonzie for a short walk and get ready for the meeting.  She hoped Dan would want to come, but he didn’t seem interested.

That night there were several people that were healed of long standing illnesses and diseases, as well as old Silas Crup who had been in a wheel chair for twenty years of his seventy years.  When all paralysis left his body, he got up and began to jump up and down like he was twenty.  The people were stunned to say the least.  No one had seen anything like it before.

Tuesday morning the town was a buzz about the healings that had taken place.  People called their relatives and they told others and suddenly the town was full of people coming from the surrounding communities to attend the revival meetings.

Several people came into the pet store to talk with Harry and Alice about the revival.  “Were you there when my cousin Sadie was healed of cancer?” Leta Carpenter asked Alice.  “Yes.” she replied, “We could hardly believe it; if we had not seen that deep hole in her cheek fill in right before our very eyes, we would not have believed it could happen.”  “But with God, of course.” she added.

Dan heard all of this and wondered what was happening.  “Could it be true?  Does God really exist?  Could I have been wrong all these years?  No, I have studied this thing out, there is no such thing as God.  I know I am right.  This is just hocus-pocus.” He thought.  But the crack in his armor had taken place and Spirit of God was drawing him.

When the revival was over that evening Dan was waiting for Mary.  She came to get in her car and he asked if they could talk.  Reluctantly, she agreed, but said she had to go get Fonzie and take him for a walk.

Arriving at Mary’s house, he put Fonzie in the back seat of his car. Dan wanted to talk.  She didn’t know what was on his mind, but she agreed.  He headed downtown toward the pet store.  Dan turned into the lot behind the store, Mary saw the community service officer’s car hesitate as she saw them, but then recognized Dan’s car and kept going.

He stopped the car and they got out with Fonzie.  Dan had the leash in his hand, intending to walk him along the grassy area behind the store.  Fonzie suddenly reared up, showing his teeth and began to attack Dan.  Mary stood dumbfounded at what she saw happening, she was paralyzed with fear.  Dan yelled at her to get back and call for help.

Incredibly, when the story was told later, they realized an angel, sent from God, came and seemed to get in front of or into Dan as he wrestled with the dog.  Fonzie fell to the ground, apparently dead, and what stood before them could only be described as a satanic presence.  It was the ugliest evil thing either of them had ever seen.  It bared its teeth and growled that it was going to kill them.

That’s when I woke up and realized I had a dream.

Days are coming when God is going to show up and so is satan.  Maybe you don’t know it, but there is a war going on and to the victor belongs the spoils.  The spoils these warring kingdoms are after is the souls of mankind.  I have read the back of the book and I can tell you, God wins, satan is defeated and sent to Hell.  End of story!

Which side are you on?  Think!

Time Is Flying By

Royalty-Free-RF-Clip-Art-Illustration-Of-Flying-Clocks-Chasing-A-Man-450437895[1]Last year there was a book published about harbingers.   To my mind a harbinger is a warning that something is on the way, it is not far off and you better be prepared, and it seems to me that these harbingers are, for the most part, not good tidings.

When I saw this headline in our local paper  “53 -Year Standoff Ends”, I thought, “Harbinger”. What followed in the article were pictures about an American contractor released from Cuba, pictures of joyful people across the country and one with “anti-Castro activists” chanting anti-Obama slogans in Little Havana.  Relationship with Communist Cuba is now restored….harbinger!

The column right next to it says, “N. Korea linked to Sony attack”.  It speaks of intimidation, cancellation of a T. V. show and the belief that hackers were working for the North Korean government….harbinger.

In the 1980’s I had a vision, as did several other people.  It was of an aerial attack by Russia across the Bering Straits, across Alaska, across Canada, entering US territory and the bombing military bases from the Canadian border to the Southern border.  The airplanes were stealth bombers flying tree-top level.  I was also given a poem that spoke of them watching for the right time to attack.

Three years ago it was seen by an intercessor that Russian submarines were in the Gulf of Mexico.  Newspapers later revealed they had been there at that exact time.

Many people have seen attacks on the coasts of America coming in the form of rockets from submarines or ships in international waters.  Some have seen Eastern seaboard cities on fire.

In addition to these, we are aware that there are over a thousand ISIS cells in America.  There are many Moslem groups who support and fund them.  It is believed by some that Iran is behind them….harbinger

It seems to me that the enemy is at the door, but Americans are, by and large, asleep or unaware of the signs of the times, and many people believe that everything will continue as it always has for generations to come so they close their ears and their eyes.  I have talked to them.

It is a new day, and in my opinion, it will be the demise of “The American Dream” with all that term means.  The globalists want a government that is controlled by a strong leader, where earth is divided into regions, and America, as we know it today, is no more.  They are working diligently to make that happen, but it takes time.  I think we are getting close to that day, that “new world order”.

Socialism is the order of the day, I believe that it will be a society where the elite are supported by the working class, who work only to support them, while they themselves subsist on a meager amount of food, clothes and shelter.   To my way of thinking this is the plan the socialists, have for America.

Think that will never happen in America?  I pray that you are right, but I believe you are wrong, I just hope that blind eyes are opened before it is too late and destruction comes that will implement “their” takeover plan.  You have to destroy the old to bring in the new, it has ever been so, I do not think this is any different.

Through the years the “racist” card has been played effectively.  Much of what the African race has endured over the years has been horrendous.  But, like anything else there are ditches on both sides of the road and this is no different.  The Aryan race thought itself superior for a lot of years, which accounted for centuries of abuse.

There is a force loosed in America at this time that is racist, it is the flip side of what took place in the 1800’s.  The African race has tasted the power of riot and terror, they have seen how effective it is against the Aryans who want to stay in their comfortable enclaves and not experience any upheaval, and I promise you, it will grow.  It fits right in with “The Plan’.

Communism/Socialism, like many “isms”, promises many things but deliver only constraints, fear and death. (if you don’t go by their rules.)  There was a perfume commercial years ago:  “Promise her anything, but give her Arpege.”  “Isms” make bold promises and may toss a few crumbs your way to keep you attached to them, but in the long run, “you owe your soul to the company store”, as Tennessee Ernie Ford used to sing.

What am I saying?  I am seeing the world very speedily advancing along the lines of Biblical prophecy.  There are almost daily advances that can be seen on TV, in newspapers, magazines, the internet etc. that verify to those with eyes to see that a takeover will happen in the near future.  In addition to that, weather patterns, signs in the heavens and natural disasters are on the increase, which also lead me to believe this scenario.

America will not be lost from being a nation.  But, the America that arises out of the ashes will not be what it once was.  George Washington had a vision of three wars on American soil, two have taken place already, I believe the third is not going to linger very much longer.  In the end of the vision, Washington saw the “Angel of the Union” plant the American flag and declare that the nation will survive the attack from the European, Asian and African continent, but it will be a very different America that it was.

You have heard the term, “Get your ducks in a row?”  Well, this would be a good time to do that.  Start with humbling yourself before the God of Heaven and Earth, who created all living things, including you.  Confess your rebellion against Him and your need of His forgiveness.  Ask Him to receive you through Jesus blood and finished work.  The price He paid to buy you out of slavery to sin is more than enough.  Then, receive your freedom through Jesus.

I am sincerely trusting that you have been stirred to take remedial action if you are on the wrong side of God through sin and rebellion.  Time is ticking by fast.  Who knows if this may be your final call?  Make sure you know that your final destination is Heaven, should your life end suddenly.

My prayers arise for your salvation and those of your household.   Acts: 16:31   Joy

End Times

Galatians 4:4-7 My paraphrase: When the fulness of time came, God sent His Son into the womb of a virgin, living under the law of Moses, to buy back those who all their lives lived under bondage to law keeping. He offered adoption into His family which would also make them sons. He sent forth His Spirit to confirm the transformation and His habitation and said, “Now you are an heir with Messiah of the Kingdom of Light. Some believed and received and some rebelled and rejected the offer. The offer still stands and man has not changed, some believe and receive and others rebel and reject it.

Elvi Zapata in the Fall of 2013 spoke what he saw. If you wish you can put his name in You Tube to view it for yourself. I will put forth what I heard on that video here…

He saw tribulation on earth. Fear was rampant, earthquakes, famine…with great cracks in the earth, tsunamis and terrible calamities. God said to him, “Tribulation is closer than my people believe.” God has delayed judgment as His people repented, but nevertheless, judgment will come. God does respond to prayer and repentance. God showed Zapata the year 2014 and Tribulation.

He saw a tsunami heading for the United State from the North. He saw New Jersey, New York City, and the island of Manhattan under water from a 94 foot high wave. Millions would lose their lives.

God has held back judgment, but it will be released all together. According to what Zapata saw there will be three final signs:
1. A mega earthquake in the west.
2. An earthquake in the northeast and then a tsunami.
3. War in Israel.
He saw three weeks of suffering. After the earthquakes he saw that there would be volcanic eruptions. He saw an eruption in Mexico, Mexico City had an earthquake of 8.9 on the Richter Scale. He saw economic collapse. He saw pressure on the San Andreas Fault in California with a 9.5 or 10.5 earthquake, Nevada would be affected. He saw the Yellowstone caldera explode and then he saw a sneak nuclear attack.

I am going to go aside here to tell you of a vision that I had many years ago. I saw an airplane shaped like a triangle come across the Bering Straits, across Alaska, heading south across Canada, coming down across North Dakota and flying straight down to the Mexican border. This aircraft was flying above the tree tops, it was bombing military bases from the northern border to the southern border of the United states. I did not know what the aircraft was as I had never seen anything like it. I found out that it was called a stealth bomber, that it could fly very low, treetop level, that it would make very little noise, and that it could fly under the radar so as to be undiscovered. At that point the stealth bomber was only on the drawing board, it was not in production. But, the Spirit of God knows all things. I believe that while this vision may have some symbolic things in it, the fact is that today Russia has stealth bombers and I believe the day will come when she will attack America.

This is a poem that the Lord gave me at the time the Cold War with Russia was ended:

The treaty is signed,
No more they’re maligned,
“Progress we’re making,
See the steps we are taking?”

Their plan they are working
No detail they are shirking,
Our borders they stake out
No error to make now,
An air strike they plan
As soon as they can.

When peace is declared
Then watch – be prepared.

Nikita Kruschev declared at the United Nations, banging his shoe upon the table, “We will bury you!” When your enemy declares His desire, does he change his plan? Today the Russian bear has come out of hibernation and he is hungry. He sits in secret with the enemy and makes his plans for conquest, there is a time-table, he pretends to be a friend, but he lies. He wants dominion. He is working his plan, his eye is on the Holy land. It is God’s portion of the earth and He will not stand for it. In Ezekiel 38 and 39 it is recorded that he and his confederates will fall in that land. God is God! It is my belief that a simultaneous attack will occur upon Israel and America.

Back to the Zapata vision……He saw a two-week period of time that the Bride of Christ will have to prepare for what lies ahead. She will have to endure some calamity. When she is taken out of the world and brought to Heaven for the marriage supper of the Lamb, then sudden destruction will come upon the earth, this destruction will be the result of the wrath of an angry God against rebellion. Zapata was told, “Wait for the signs.”

It is my belief that the Bride of Christ will go through some tribulation, but not the wrath of God. When Israel was in Egypt, they went through the first three plagues and then God said: “I will put a division between my people and thy people: Tomorrow shall this sign be.” There will be a sifting of those who claim to be Christians, only the true believer will remain faithful in tribulation.

Kevin Mirasi has seen visions of the Lord regarding the end-times. Many things that he saw corroborate what Zapata has seen, and these two men are not the only ones to whom God has shown what is to come, John Paul Jackson is one who comes to mind, but there are too many to name here.

Mirasi saw an earthquake in California that was a 9 or 10 on the Richter Scale. He saw the sign in the Hollywood hills that says, “Hollywood”, demolished, after this California would become like Somalia, a third world nation. He saw Moslems celebrating in the streets at the destruction in America. He was told that these natural disasters were a sign of imminent rapture and that people must repent and be ready for it. He said many other states would be affected by this earthquake.

Mirasi saw the state of Virginia affected by a huge earthquake, this will affect the leaders of the United States, they will feel the shaking, but even so they will not listen to this clear sign from God, but will harden their hearts. In fact, he says, they will use this time to get a firm grip on the land, using it as an excuse to introduce dictatorship into America. He said that the food supply will be cut off for several days and recommended that people have some food and water in storage.

Mirasi declared that the reason for judgment coming upon California is because of the sexual sin and perversion coming out of it that has reached the throne of God. A major earthquake is about to hit California.

Mirasi heard “The split of the land of the United States of America along a fault line.” It will be a huge tear producing a huge trench, he saw people falling into it screaming. There was no time to escape as the tearing continued.

Mirasi saw a “coming war between the United State of America and Russia.” He saw that America will lose this battle, there would be lots of damages, destruction and fatalities. He also saw martial law coming to the United States. People will be searched as never before. He believes this will come as the result of God’s judgments. He was told that these are coming because of sexual immorality and the murder of innocent children through abortion, there being a lack of respect for life, also because of the removal of God Almighty and the value systems from the institutions and the fabric of society, schools and the court systems, because America has a silent agenda to divide the land of Israel, and because of false shepherds in the church, false Christians, false doctrine, a compromised gospel.

George Washington had a vision of America with three wars upon her soil, the last of which was when the country was populated from border to border. He saw this attack come from Europe, Asia and Africa. “From each of these arose thick, black clouds that were soon joined into one. And throughout this mass, there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of the cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country, and burn the villages, towns, and cities.” It is interesting to me that communists have been referred to as “Reds” and there “gleamed a dark red light” in this cloud.

Washington saw the battle, millions were in “mortal combat”. He saw light come and destroy the black cloud, then he saw the angel of the Union, with “legions of white spirits” come to the aid of the people. When the tide was turned the angel of the Union planted the standard, the American flag, and declared: “While the stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.”

Scripture declares that no man knows the day or the hour, but God gives us signs that alert us to times and seasons. The sun, moon and stars are for signs, times and seasons upon earth. God does nothing on the earth without His people, He reveals to us these things that we may prepare and be ready and so we may help others to do the same.

There is a little girl from Korea, Sa-Rang, who saw some things of the Rapture of the church, judgment, Heaven and Hell. She saw the Lord in great sorrow as He showed her what was to come. After the church was removed from earth, she saw fire and sulfur rain down upon the earth and she saw many people falling into Hell. There are many books by people who have been taken to Heaven and Hell, God has not left Himself without a witness to the world, but once the judgment is set there will be no room to repent. Today is the day of salvation! The Lord told her that His coming was near and that we must always be ready, because “he that would meet the Lord like a thief in the night will not go to Heaven.”

John Mulinde from Uganda was sent by God to America to tell of the vision that God gave him. God told Mulinde “America’s destiny is to be a city set on a hill, a light in the darkness and a messenger of my Word.” He said, “I am looking for a man to stand before me for this land, but I found none.”

The vision Mulinde had was of a pillar encircled with flowers. On the top was a brown plate and on the plate was a beautiful cake. The pillar moved forward and as it did it grew in size until it was a hill with a city on top, with light shining up into the sky.

As Mulinde watched, the pillar receded until it was the original size; he saw that the pillar was cracked and in the cracks he saw darkness. Then the pillar began to crumble and fall and when it did the plate fell and broke in half; the cake shattered in many pieces. God said, “The foundations of this nation have been broken and I am looking for a man who will stand before me in behalf of this land that I may not destroy it, that I may not give back to it as it has walked before me.

He said that there are many who call people to prayer, but the cry of sin is louder than the prayer and it prevails. God said, “the cloud of judgment is hanging over this land and there are three waves of judgment that are going to hit this land.” They are:

1. Judgment against the spirit of Mammon. “Because my people have made money a god in my place, and have made everything rotate around money and replaced me with the spirit of mammon, everything will come tumbling down, when that happens it will pull down the economies of many countries.” He said, “Tell the people, “Turn your eyes away from the perishable and fix them on me. Tell them to fix their faith in me when things look bad and they will stand.”

2. Judgment against human pride and human achievement…what man has done, what man has built, what man has been able to put together and because of that he thinks he can be God, he can replace God in his lifestyle and he can choose what is good and evil, what is bad for him and good for him and he can set his own standards – judgment in this area is to come through natural calamities, it will hit at the civilization of man and again and again, and the time will come when it will get so intense whole cities will be razed to the ground in a matter of days.

3. Judgment against liberties that overthrow God’s statutes and standards in the name of rights and freedoms. God said, “The people have rejected my standards for themselves; at this moment my hand is holding back the consequences of their choices, but the day is coming when I will lift my hand and all the consequences of the choices they have made will come flooding over the land; at that time there will be a cry for help and help will not be near.”

Many people have declared that there will be a remnant of people who know God and they will follow Him with their whole heart. The others who name the name of Jesus but are not surrendered to Him, who have not broken before Him, will say things like: “How can God be so unjust as to do that to us? How can a loving God do such a thing to us.” God said to Mulinde, “They are not broken, but angry, and their anger is unbelief and total rejection of Me.”

Mulinde was instructed to tell people to pray that the remnant will be big and strong, that they will not fear to stand and that they will have the faith to claim this nation back. God said, “My purposes for this nation are yet unfulfilled, I am not through with this land, but I want people who will stand before me for this land.”

I pray that the eyes of all will be opened to see the time that we are in now. There are veils upon the eyes of many people. They argue and reason and say, “I see.”, when they are blind, dead to truth, and a veil covers their soul. When you are born of the Spirit of God, light comes into your soul and you can see. Change comes naturally because you have switched sides. What was closed to you now opens and you begin the process called sanctification…being set apart as a house for God’s Spirit.

Our inheritance is being taken away and evil is being forced upon the land, claiming more and more territory. The enemy has come in like a flood, a flood of evil flows over the land. The righteous don’t like it, but feel powerless to do anything about it.

The elders, the wise men, and those who give godly counsel no longer are looked up to. Our culture is youth oriented, every area is touched by their desires, their way and their wants. In the political realm there is no prophetic authority. Compromise is the order of the day and “political correctness” governs from Washington on down to local government, media etc.

Unless God’s people fulfill II Chronicles 7:14, “if my people called by my name will humble themselves and pray, then I will hear from Heaven forgive their sins and heal their land.”, the judgments these men have seen will come upon the land. God is looking for a people to stand for His will to be done in America as it is in Heaven. He is looking for a people who will pray that America will fulfill her destiny.

The walls are down and the gates are burned metaphorically, but spiritually this is true. The land is defiled and unclean. God’s people pray amiss, powerless, because they are in error. One example is this: In big and small ways parents submit to the prevailing culture of immorality and indecency in the country, they are not taking a stand for righteousness. God cannot answer prayer that is prayed in the wrong spirit or in error.

Mulinde was told that God wants to clean up His church, He wants to pour out the refiner’s fire.” He said it is about a church that will rise above the systems of the world and the chains that are holding people captive; He wants to bring those who are bound into the church and set them free. He wants purity in His people.

If the walls are broken down, then the forces that have come in are uninvited. When you play with evil, it will take possession of you eventually. Giving the enemy a foothold allows him to take you into bondage. The forces of darkness will change your mind-set, your world view. There is corruption that defiles, not only the person, but the whole land.

God is looking for repentance and confession of sin. He is looking for His people to deal with those things that they are shown in their own lives that are hindering them, defiling them and ultimately their family and their land.

James 4:7 says that we are to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us. If the enemy has something in you or something on you, it is no use to resist him, for he has the legal right to be there. Repentance cleans the soul and gives God permission, when you ask, to come to your aid, to cleanse your temple and make it a fit place for His Spirit to live.

Mulinde suggested three things to pray:

1. God, open my eyes to see how you feel, how you see. I want to walk and talk with you.
2. God, I don’t want to miss what you are doing or saying, give me a soft heart, ready and willing to move with you.
3. Pray for America. Cry out for the remnant to rise up, those who are hungry and thirsty for God. Strengthen them Lord, so they are strong and can claim back this nation. May your purpose be accomplished.

5-26-14 I heard these words:
“There is a judgment coming upon America. It is a judgment of works. As she has done so shall it be done unto her. Lies, intrigue and cover up abound, but I see it all. Nothing is hidden from my eyes, for my eyes go to and fro throughout the whole world examining hearts to see whose heart is for me and whose is against.”
“Judgment is coming and it cannot be reversed when the cup of iniquity is full. As you have done so shall it be done unto you. I am God, I do not lie.l If I have said it so shall I do.”
“Do not fear child of mine. Hide yourself under my shadow and you shall go through. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of it all. I do and I will.” There are many who believe they are righteous and are not. Take heed that you stand, lest you fall. Make your calling and election sure.”
“Where is the way that is made clear? Where is the man who stands before me for the nation? Who cares that my people perish for lack of knowledge? Is there no man who will stand in the gap and make up the hedge for the land that I not destroy it?” (I questioned Him here as I know that there are many who pray for America. His reply was: “I judge hearts, you judge externals.)
“Many say that they love me, say I am their Lord, but their lives prove otherwise. Such are worse to me than a sinful man. There are hypocrites in the land, living double lives. Like the Pharisees they proclaim the are mine, yet the live as children of my adversary. Examine yourselves and you will not be judged by the world’s standards.”
“I grieve every day as the reports come concerning my children. “Have I not espoused you to my Son? Have I not chosen you, the remnant to be His Holy Bride? Shall the Bride of my Son defile herself with worldly things when He is at the door?”
“I see, I grieve, my heart grieves over those who have not prepared themselves have not made themselves ready for His arrival. He stands ready at my command to come for His Bride. He will come. Some will be waiting, ready and watching..and some will not, and they shall not enter in to the marriage feast.”

Let us examine our own hearts. Are we wholly His? Have we given Him everything? He knows. Let us not be like the five foolish virgins in the parable Jesus told.

Holy Spirit, examine my heart and forgive me. Remove all impurities. Cleanse me and fill me. I choose to trust you rather than what my senses tell me. Help me in my weakness to be strong in you. I want to be part of this remnant you spoke of. Amen!

I hope you are stirred up by reading this, that surely is the purpose of it. I hope you question God if these things be so and ask Him to show you. He is looking for hungry hearts. Is your heart hungry?

Blessed, that is what I am, and so very thankful to God for His love and His patience.

Fool’s Song

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes:  but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.”   Proverbs 12:15

Every man’s way is right in his own eyes.  But the Lord weighs the hearts.” Proverbs 21:2

He that trusts his own heart is a fool, but the man who walks wisely shall be delivered.”  Proverbs 28:26

A wise man fears and departs from evil, but the fool rages and is confident.  Proverbs 14:16

“The wise fear the Lord and shun evil, but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure.  Proverbs 14:16

Ecclesiastes 10:14  “A fool is full of words.  A man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him?

There are two paradigms available to man:  To be wise or to be a fool.  It is a choice.

“No man is an island.”  says John Donne.  No man lives unto himself… but every man dies alone.  It is our decisions that determine our quality of life and it is our decision that determines our destination when this physical body gives way to death.

Each human being will make a decision to be wise or to be a fool.

The Bible, the written Word of God, declares that a fool says in his heart, “There is no God!”  This passage in Psalm 53:1 also says that there is none that does good, which is further confirmed in Romans 3:12 where it says that there is no one who does good, no not even one.  Understand…this is from God’s point of view, not man’s.  God is God! He knows all hearts and declares that a man’s heart is desperately wicked.  Jeremiah 17:9

On the other hand a man is wise who chooses to believe in and receive the gift of salvation through the one that God has sent to be the Savior of the world, Jesus, the righteous one.

The person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God, the one sent by God to be the Savior, is declared to be righteous before God through Him.

“What then will you do with this man Jesus, who is called the Christ?” Matthew 27: 22

History, as my friend Bill says, is His Story…it all is, the whole thing.

Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew, is the Christ, the sent one ; sent from God. (who is the the Father of us all.  Ephesians 4:6)  Hebrews 1:3

He must rule and reign until…

“Then comes the end, when He hands over the Kingdom to the God the Father, when He has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.”  I Corinthians 15:24

Until then we struggle…

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  Ephesians 4:6

These forces have power, dominion and authority over the world’s way of doing and being, and over those who do not belong to the Kingdom of God. (by their own choice)

But Jesus said to those who belonged to Him:  “These things I have spoken to you that in me you might have peace.  In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.”  John 16:33

This work that Jesus did for us of overcoming the kingdom of darkness through His passion at Calvary, can only be ours by appropriation.  It will not just fall upon us, we must believe it and receive it…that is called faith.

Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

A man is not made just before a Holy God in any other way than by faith.  God justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. Romans 4:5

It is only by faith in what Jesus did that an ungodly, unholy man is accepted as right with God.

Not by works of righteousness that I have done, but according to His mercy  He saved me.  Titus 3:5

Which paradigm do you choose, to be a fool, to not believe, to trust in your own goodness, your own way of being right or to be wise and believe in, lean on and rest in the Savior and God’s way of being right.

Gifted Receivers and Needy Givers

Yesterday I had lunch with my favorite niece.  Even though she and I do not see each other often because we both lead busy lives, each time we get together is a real joy.  We come away with excitement and thanksgiving to the Lord for our relationship and what God is doing in each of us.

We spoke of many things, but mostly it was about the family…hers, mine and ours, catching up on what we all have been doing.  It is wonderful to be a friend with a family member.

I have also been blessed to be the older woman in her life and have taught her the ways of the Lord. Our time of discipleship before her marriage was a three-year period in which God prepared her.  She is married and has six beautiful children.  What a blessing!

Our pastor chided the congregation yesterday that we must bring the good news to the market place.  I desire to do so, though being introverted by nature this is not an easy thing for me. However, yesterday at the restaurant I took the opportunity to do so.

My niece and I had a very attentive older woman wait on us and it seemed quite natural to speak to her about faith.  In keeping with what pastor said, I asked her some questions regarding her country of origin, which was Bangladesh, and a short conversation went on from there.

She and her husband came to America because a large company in New York employed her to sing, although she didn’t seem to want to talk about it further.  She told us that when 911 happened they became frightened and moved to our state to get away.

I wonder how many others ran away in fear of more terrorist attacks?  I was in New York a few days after the 911 attack and I talked with some that were intent on leaving.  In fact one lady had her car and her children packed up and was putting gas in her car to leave that day.  How far is far enough to avoid terror, anxiety or fear?

I asked our waitress what her religion was, she answered that she was Muslim, but that there were many religions in her country.  She emphasized that there was only one God over them all.  She loved to pray, she said, and she wanted us to understand that the terrorists do not represent Muslims.  She further stated that nowhere in the Quaran does it say that violence is acceptable.

I told her that we Christians do not believe that there is only one god or that our God is the same as theirs.  I told her that we believe that a person must be born-again, as the Bible says. We talked of Jesus and she told us that she believes he is a prophet.  I said we believe that He is the Son of God, the Savior of all who come to Him.

She then alluded to denominations in Christianity.  I explained a little to her, but she began to get nervous and ended the conversation.  I pray that she will come to know the one true God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and His Son, Jesus, for true peace can only be found in Him.

How many stories are there?  How many people who are scared and running from something?  How many wrapped up in a religion that, in the end, will not profit them?  And, all the while the truth can be known to anyone who will search it out.

God has not made people to be robots.  Each of us has been given a mind with which we think and examine concepts and ideas, this was a great risk on His part, because then we could choose to rebel against Him.  Many thousands of people have done just that.

In the devotional book, “Jesus Calling”, by Sarah Young, Page 116, the devotion for April 21st, Jesus says,  “Though My blood has fully redeemed you, your mind is the last bastion of rebellion.”  How true that is!

I heard this statement many years ago:  “You cannot keep the birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from making a nest in your hair.”  We are responsible for what we allow to “bed down” in our mind.  Not every thought we think is from ourselves, not every thought is a God-thought, some thoughts are sourced from the enemy of our soul with the devious purpose to deceive us.  We must know who is speaking to us.

For years of my life I heard many voices.  I did not know any better than to listen to what I heard, after all it sounded like my voice.  Thank God for an older woman of God sent to help me.  For three years this dear saint taught me, disciplined me, trained me and prayed for me.  I would not be where I am today had that not happened.  I have taken great joy in passing this blessing on to others.

It matters what we hear, but it matters more what we entertain or meditate on, because thinking becomes actions and actions make character and character makes a life.  Life lived for self, will always end in disaster, does not fit the mold.  Each of us was created by God to be “Sons of God” and any other pattern will not work.  How often we accept the deviant as the norm, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Know this, dear reader, God loves you, you are each His special creation as it is recorded in Psalm 139 verses 13-16.  Verse 16 tells us that God watches over every conception and the growth of the child in the womb.  Their spirits come from Him who created them and sent them, this is why abortion hurts the heart of God.  Each child is a gift and He is wounded when those gifts are returned to Him.

Oh, if only we could or would see from His point of view!

My mentor told me that  “We are all gifted receivers and we are all needy givers.”  It took awhile before I could grasp the full meaning of this statement, but I have come to believe it.

Bottom line:  No human being, save one, is perfect.  We are all flawed because we are all sinners by the fall of our first parents in Eden.  We all sin and fall short of the mark of perfection, which is the holiness of God.

Thank God we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous!  To Him we can come with all of our short-comings and failures.  He stands in the gap between the judgment we deserve and the holiness we fall short of, He is our Savior, He is the bridge over which we can come to God and be accepted.

Thank God for Jesus!  Thank God for the cross, where He paid a price He did not owe because we owed a price we could not pay.

Blessings to you!

Mandy’s Song

She looked as fragile as a butterfly, but she was tough, hardened by years of abuse from people in her world, people that she should have been able to trust.

Dripping wet she only weighed 100 pounds, she had hair as brown as corn silk and her eyes were as blue as the sky.  She always had a smile for everyone, it lit up the world around her.

You would not think of her as beautiful, perhaps not even pretty, but there was something about her, everyone said it, though no one could put their finger on just what it was.

Her name was Mandy.  She came from a long line of drug addicts, not the illegal kind, but the kind that the doctor prescribed.  Once every year she got so sick she had to be hospitalized because she just couldn’t handle life anymore.  In a way, it was a ploy to get the attention that she craved.

Mandy was no different from her mother before her, or her grand-mother, they were all addicted.  Oh, it wasn’t the kind that made you a walking zombie, it was just enough for you to be to be stable and able to sleep at night.  Legal, accepted by the world.  Naturally, she did not think of herself as an addict and, of course, no one but those closest to Mandy even knew that she was taking drugs every day.  But, she knew she needed the drugs to survive.

But there was more to Mandy than the abuse she suffered in her young life or the drugs she needed to live each day, Mandy had a different spirit in her.  She knew she was unusual, even children and animals were drawn to her like a magnet.  She would only look at them and they would run to her.  God had prepared her, He had set her up to become His child.

I met Mandy a few years ago and in a very short time she became like a daughter to me.  On a lovely spring day, a year after we met, I introduced her to the only one who could heal a sin sick soul, she met Him and His peace flooded her life.

I wished that I could have had a daughter, but I had been blessed with four boys.  Somehow, with Mandy in my life, that void was filled.  We were dear, dear friends.

Our relationship was so close that when the incident happened, I was shocked to my core.  I had never had to deal with the loss of one so dear, especially one in the prime of their life.  The day it happened, morning came like every other day.  That afternoon, I felt like, “How could this be?  How could life just go on as if nothing happened?”

By the way, I believe in God,  I believe that He is “our Father in Heaven”,  I believe that He is the ultimate good and that He has a Son and His human name was Yeshua, we call Him Jesus.  I also believe that Jesus is the only way to God and that He made the way through His death and resurrection.  I not only believe this mentally, but I believe it experiencially.  I have had the privilege of seeing Jesus twice.  As a result, the peace and love that I live in is tangible to me and to others.

Having said that, I want you to know, dear reader, that the shock of losing Mandy sent waves of hurt crashing against my soul that nearly took me under.

I was sitting in the sun porch of my home, the sunlight was streaming in from the west, I had my sweet cat, Katie, on my lap, a glass of sweet tea and the book, “Make Fear Bow”, by Gary Whetstone in my hand…life was good.

The phone rang.  When I picked it up I heard words I never thought I would hear.  “This is the sheriff’s department, Mandy Larson has just had an accident and your name was on a slip in her purse, are you a relative?”  I was taken aback, but quickly answered that I was not.  “What happened?”,  I asked.

“Miss Larson was crossing the bridge on Interstate 85 when the bridge collapsed.  Her car was among those in the center and it fell along with a piece of the bridge into the water.  Divers were deployed as soon as we could get there.  Miss Larson’s body was found in her car.  I am sorry ma’am.”

I hung up the phone, I was in free fall.  I felt numb.  What should I do?  I turned to my “Abba”, my Daddy, He  has always been there for me.  “My God, why?  How could this be, Lord help me.  This is just not possible.  Mandy, was so young, surely You were not finished with her yet? ”   I sobbed, my heart breaking for my loss.

After what seemed like an eternity, but was actually about 15 minutes, I began to feel God’s peace envelop me.  Presence of mind returned and I began to wonder what would happen next.

As you can imagine, the collapse of the I85 bridge over the Missehaga river made headline news all over the nation.  Many people lost their lives that day, many families lives were changed never to be normal again.  Husbands lost their wives, wives their husbands and children their parents, it was devastating!

The shock waves continued for days, and those who knew Mandy were stunned to think of the horror she must have experienced when this happened.  Imagination runs wild in tragedy.

I asked the Lord if He would let me know how Mandy felt and how she was now.  In His kindness and love for me and my loss He gave me a dream that I want to relay to you.

I found myself in a garden, the most beautiful garden I had ever seen.  Some of the colors were like we have on earth, but more brilliant, deep and rich than any I had seen, there were other colors that I had never seen on earth.  The smell was “Heavenly”  (smile) and there was the most beautiful music coming from everything.  It seemed like a park, in a way, and yet was a garden, it is hard to explain.

Anyway,  I was taking in the wonder of it all when I saw someone come walking toward me and I recognized that it was Mandy.  I ran to her and embraced her.  She looked beautiful, radiant.  We sat down on a lovely garden bench and began to talk.

Mandy told me that when she felt the car shake and began to fall, she was terrified and fear began to engulf her.  The car hit the water hard and the next thing she knew she was in Heaven.  Jesus told her that her neck broke at that point and he had angels right there to take her to Heaven, so she never experienced the horror of drowning.  Thank you Lord!

She encouraged me that she was wonderfully happy and free at last from the heaviness of things of earth and that I would be with her soon.  I woke up from this dream with God’s peace and the assurance that Mandy was fine.

God is so good!  I hope to spend the rest of my time on this planet thanking Him and telling of His love for people.

I hope you know Him, whom my soul loves.  He is a friend that is closer than a brother, as the scripture says.  He will be with you in all of the trials, tests, troubles and temptations of life, if you will ask Him to come in.

This story is a composite of many people and many experiences.  I hope you enjoyed it!

Lovingly,

Joy

Faith and Fear

Faith and fear are strong forces that every person experiences as they walk through life, they are common to all man-kind.

Faith has been defined from a Christian standpoint as:  Forsaking All I Take Him.  Certainly, that is an accurate definition of the term from that standpoint.  However, you don’t need to be a believer in Jesus to experience faith.

It seems rather obvious to me that you must learn to have faith to do just about anything in this world.  Trust is a huge part of faith, because if you do not trust someone you cannot have faith in them, and this will affect your relationship to them and with them.

There are many objects that people trust in and put their faith in.  One example would be a product advertised on television.   Commercials try to convince us that their product is the best on the market, their hope is to influence us to buy their product.  When you trust that they are telling you the truth you put your faith in what you have seen and you buy the product.

Another example we could use is something as simple as sitting down on a chair, which is also an act of faith.  You must know that the chair will support your weight and then you trust in the chair and sit down.

Recently, America has had an election in which the candidates for the office of President made promises to the people.  The person most Americans believed, trusted in and put their faith in, is the man who now sits in that office.

Faith is force, a power, that can change the world.  Each person has that power within himself.  I believe that this power is part of who we are because we were created “in the image and likeness of God”.  That being said, faith can be a force for good or evil.

Fear is also a force to be reckoned with.  The source of fear is most often from the side of evil, but there is a fear that is inherent in us by nature, and that is the fear that kicks in when we are threatened.  We will do one of two things, we will either fight or we will  flee.  Preservation and protection is uppermost at that point.  It is natural.

There is a fear that is supernatural, even demonic.  This fear first deceives, then blinds and finally binds a person up; it keeps them locked up, imprisoned in an imaginary world that appears so real.  By definition fear is:  False Expectations Appearing Real.

Job declared:  “That which I greatly feared has come upon me.”  Fear opens a door for further destruction.  Anxiety, fear, and depression cause a person to spiral downward and if not stopped will lead finally to self-murder.  So many people are in bondage because a door to fear was opened.

The antidote to fear is trust….trust in the One who loves like no other, accepts like no other and proved it beyond just words.  This is the one who “sticks closer than a brother”.  This is the one who has promised, “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.”  He has promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  This is the creator God who loved so much that He took flesh and walked the earth as a man, experienced all that we do and then paid a price he didn’t owe, because we owed a price we could not pay.

Faith and fear…both will be with us as long as we live.  Understand, gain knowledge, both of God and the enemy, and use wisdom to discern the source of what you are hearing and feeling.  It will mean life or death to your quality of life on this planet and in the world to come.

Knowing You Jesus lyrics

by Graham Kendrick

All I once held dear, built my life upon
All this world reveres, and wars to own
All I once thought gain I have counted loss
Spent and worthless now, compared to this

Knowing you, Jesus
Knowing you, there is no greater thing
You’re my all, you’re the best
You’re my joy, my righteousness
And I love you, Lord

Now my heart’s desire is to know you more
To be found in you and known as yours
To possess by faith what I could not earn
All-surpassing gift of righteousness

Oh, to know the power of your risen life
And to know You in Your sufferings
To become like you in your death, my Lord
So with you to live and never die
